Albero sits in the hills above Radda in Chianti, 1.5km from the village, looking out over vineyards and olive groves. The house is built around a medieval stone tower, restored and fitted out as a wine bar with a billiards table; the owners produce their own wine on the estate and run tastings for guests on request. The road up to the parking area is fully asphalted, which isn't a given this far into the hills.
Within the villa's garden, you'll discover a heated swimming pool complete with a gazebo, a dedicated children's playground, and a shaded patio, perfect for enjoying breakfast and al fresco meals. For guests seeking to maintain an active lifestyle, Albero also features a gym and a wellness area complete with a Turkish bath, ensuring a well-rounded experience during your stay.
The villa inludes breakfast, served indoors or on the terrace: cold cuts and cheese, vegetables and salad, seasonal fruit, chia pudding or porridge, yoghurt, home-made granola, bread and pastries, honey and jam, coffee, tea, and a smoothie or fresh-squeezed juice depending on the season. Cow's and plant milk both available.
The owners produce their own wine on the estate and run a tasting in their cellar every Wednesday at 2:30pm. Guests get a welcome dinner on the Monday after arrival, cooked by the villa staff, and can arrange cooking lessons in the professional kitchen at any point during the stay. The tower has been fitted out as a wine bar, so there's somewhere to drink what you tasted that afternoon.
