Tiglio is a historic villa with terraced gardens looking out over the Pratolino hills, very close to Fiesole and Florence. This is the perfect spot to relax in the Tuscan countryside and still be able to be in the centre of Florence visiting the Uffizi, the Duomo and more, with just a short train ride.

The villa is in the hills overlooking the Val di Mugnone, barely a couple of miles from Fiesole, in a landscape of olive groves and vineyards, with some darker patches of forest, reminiscent of the landscapes visible as the backdrops in many of Leonardo da Vinci's famous works.

The thick stone walls, hill breeze and shading terracotta roofs guarantee cool temperatures in the house even during the summer months, and the bedrooms also have airconditioning to ensure comfortable nights.
