Casa Emilio in Montestigliano was a modern apartment with everything necessary for a good holiday in Tuscany. We stayed at Montestigliano for a friend's wedding. The open spaces and courtyards were beautiful for all the events. Breakfast every morning was delicious and plenty.

The host could not be more gracious and accommodating. Doing the on site dinners is a must as they are fun interaction and the food is great. Dinner night the sell the wine pizza night you can bring your own. The villas are spacious and clean with a rustic feel.
An amazing property!!!!
I visited in 2024. The approach is along a well-maintained gravel track on a ridge in the Chianti hills - cypress trees, proper views, the kind of landscape that ends up in renaissance paintings. Virginia showed me around, and she was charming and generous with her time; when the owner or caretaker is welcoming like that, it sets the tone for the whole place.
The conversion has been done carefully - they've kept the beamed ceilings and brick archways but haven't been precious about it. Everything works. What genuinely surprised me was the spa. This isn't a hot tub with aspirations. It's a 650 square meter facility - heated hydromassage pool, sauna, Shiatsu massage bed, proper gym. The kind of setup you'd find in a resort hotel, except it's private to your group. For a villa sleeping 20, that's a real bonus.
The pool is 16 meters long with mosaic-tiled hydromassage sections and waterfall features, positioned to take full advantage of the valley views. The barn annex is genuinely separate, with its own kitchen, lounge, and entrance; this which matters for groups that want connection without being on top of each other constantly.
We're still building our review base from guests who book through Invitation to Tuscany, but the property has established reviews on other rental platforms where guests also highlight the wellness center, the helpfulness of Virginia and Francesca, and the scale of the property exceeding expectations. The cleaning charge has occasionally drawn comment at this price point, though guests still recommend the property overall. We'll be adding verified reviews from our own guests as they stay.

Villa dei Fiori not only lived up to our expectations from the photos on the website, it exceeded those expectations. The house itself was fantastic - very comfortable bedrooms, the bathrooms were high quality, the kitchen had everything we needed and the lounge area was very comfortable and relaxing. Outside, there were a couple of attractive eating areas, and several places to sit and relax. The pool and the surrounding area was terrific - with plenty of space to sit or lie in the sun, or to enjoy the shade under the pergola. We had a wonderful time, and are already planning a return visit!

We had an absolutely lovely time, and much was thanks to our warmly gracious and responsive hosts, Alessio and Cinzia. The property and villa was beautifully taken care of, clean, and met most of our needs… we cannot wait to visit again!

We spent five nights here. We received a very friendly welcome, and the hosts were very keen to explain everything to us. The house had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and very clean. The location is a bit out of the way, but you're surrounded by the peace and beauty of Tuscany. We would love to come back :-) On the second floor, it takes a little longer for the hot water to run in the shower/bathtub. We just took a shower. It wasn't a problem for us.
Olga, germany staying in Villa dei Fiori. May 2024
Our stay was relaxed and trouble free. Very well equipped kitchen, BBQ and Pizza oven all worked well to ensure everyone was happy. AnnaMarie cooked two evenings - her food is delicious and very local in its style and ingredients. Only suggestion would be to put a toddler proof closure/latch on the gate to the pool enclosure to make the most of the fencing and to provide maximum peace of mind. The tennis court and equipment and pool were all excellent.
Definitely our best villa in Tuscany all round in over 30 years.
John and Melanie staying in Villa Amorosa. Jun 2022
My extended family (6 adults, 1 infant) had a beautiful stay at Villa Amorosa. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool (completely fenced in; a plus for those with children!) and the screens in all of the windows (there were some bugs in the house, as it's a in a pretty rustic, remote locale, but the screens in the windows significantly cut down on that and allowed for a nice breeze). We also had a cook come in and prepare a beautiful meal (thank you for helping us set this up, Kim and Dan!) The house is a bit of a drive from the grocery store and town, but it worked wonderfully for us, and we'd highly recommend it to others looking for a relaxed, family-oriented stay.
J.P. staying in Amorosa. Jun 2022
Property was great and Invitation to Tuscany were super helpful. however the property was missing a few things, eg bin bags and instructions for refuse / recycling. wifi was poor and inconsistent, no ice making facility, no dishwasher tablets, rinse aid and salt and clothes washing detergent. coffee making was inadequate for the property size, (2 x 2cup expresso makers). the master bedroom was full of the owners belongings so we had to live out of our suitcases! the BBQ / Oven had no equipment and didnt work owing to lack of fire bricks to raise grill from charcoals. we had a great stay but it would have been better if we had been advised of the above or it had been supplied.
Thanks Ben, I'll let the owner know - those items shouldn't have been missing, and the master bedroom can be easily cleared. The wifi is a mystery, we get different reports, but it's definitely not being consistent, we'll investigate. Cheers, Dan
Ben H from UK staying in Amorosa. Jul 2022
Stayed in the villa for a week with our family of 10. For starters, Laura with Invitation for Tuscany was extraordinary helpful responding to numerous questions before and after booking the villa. Marco, the owner, is very accommodating and has done a very tasteful job of converting what was once a barn into a lovely villa. Some of the bedrooms convert to single beds which made the grandkids very happy that they did not have to share. The location is wonderful, being just outside the suburbs of Siena, close to a small town with a grocery store, but isolated enough with great views of the countryside. While always skeptical at the pictures I see on the website, rest assured it is a very good representation of reality. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Joe from the USA staying in Fienile. Apr 2025
Wonderful location and beautiful Villa. 5 couples stayed comfortably with plenty of space. Place was very clean, updated, and well maintained. Very private. Communication with Marco and invitation to Tuscany was excellent. Would highly recommend!
Mr M.C, USA staying in Fienile. Sep 2024
We stayed in this home for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute. Marco, the owner, met us the first day and provided an incredible briefing, along with detailed written information about the house and the local area (his restaurant recommendations are great). The home was clean and neat, and everything in the home worked and made the stay comfortable. Marco kept in contact to ensure there was nothing we needed or lacking in the home.
Marta, the owner of Marta's Cooking Classes, came to the home twice and prepared spectacular meals that were better than any we enjoyed in the many restaurants we visited. We have been to the Siena area three times before, but this property, and Marco and Marta, permitted us to have a completely different experience. For instance, we walked to San Miniato each morning and enjoyed cappuccinos and pastries in the local coffee cafe, which permitted us to meet the local baristas (an experience we also highly recommend).
We cannot recommend Fienile enough.
Mary & Friends staying in Fienile. Jun 2023
Beautiful villa in gorgeous surroundings. Happy place. Lovely pool, al fresco eating, comfortable beds. Lovely decor, spotlessly clean. Marco, the owner, stopped by a couple of times to say hi. I'd highly recommend. Very close to Siena too. Take a cab, not worth the hassle of finding a parking place.
Sandra Thompson staying in Fienile. Jul 2015
Great location - 20 mins from easy to access car park in Siena (Il Campo). Supermarket on road by from Siena to villa. Villa - Very clean, great use of space, comfortable furniture inside and out. Pool very clean and large. Lots of places to sit. Shade from the Sun if required at all times of the day. Wifi worked well. Villa well equipped. Air conditioning very cheap (25 Euros for two weeks, used every night). Owner was helpful and responsive. We had a very enjoyable two week stay.
Mr. S.J. and family, from the UK staying in Fienile. Sep 2014
This villa is absolutely gorgeous. Ten of us stayed there, ranging in age from 13 years to 59. Plenty of room for all. We didn't spend much time inside because the garden, patio and pool were so beautiful. We ate Italian family style dinners outside in the evening. Adults and kids alike hung out in the pool in until well after dark. The views from this villa are to die for, and the sunsets. We met Marco, the owner a couple of times. He was charming and extremely helpful. Wish I'd booked two weeks instead of one. You can get a taxi into Siena for ten euro, which is better than trying to park there. Can't say enough good things about this comfortable superb property. Loved it!
Mrs. S.T. and family from the USA staying in Fienile. Nov 2015
Fienile had wonderful indoor and outdoor space and was very comfortable for our group of 8. We loved dining outside at night under the canopy next to the pool while sharing our experiences and tasting our newly found Tuscany regional wines. Also, the terrace and garden views were so beautiful and relaxing...we often enjoyed our morning coffee there. The villa kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of glasses, dishes, pots and pans. We enjoy cooking, so we prepared several meals in the kitchen there. Two nights we arranged to have dinner catered...one was a drop-off and the other was an in-house cooking class. We enjoyed a full day private wine tour to Montalcino and another day trip to Antinori Winery. We also spent a few relaxing hours one day at the thermal springs (not sure of name). Of course, Siena itself had so much to offer in the way of shops, restaurants, and beautiful churches and museums. Our favorite restaurant in Siena was Trattoria Papei. On other days, we just drove and discovered small villages with very quaint restaurants for lunch and just enjoyed sitting and "soaking in" the atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Fienile to family and friends and would love to return with our family in a few years. Thanks for your help and information to make this a beautiful and memorable trip.
Mrs D.K. and family, USA staying in Fienile. Feb 2015
The property was delightful, beautifully situated in the peaceful hills with amazing views, yet only a very short drive (10 minutes) to Siena. The property was spacious and very well equipped. Wonderful gardens with terraces, a pool and fabulous views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The owner, Marco was most welcoming on arrival, showing us all round the property and ensuring us of his assistance should there have been anything we needed while staying. We enjoyed a brilliant evening when a local family came and cooked an amazing Italian feast for us - absolutely delicious! Plenty of beautiful places within easy striking distance. We would certainly recommend the villa as an excellent base to explore this part of Italy.
Mrs. C.A. and family, from the UK staying in Fienile. Feb 2014
We stayed at Fienile for a week with extended family (including 3 children between 1-3). Very relaxing environment, well appointed, spacious villa with good facilities (internet (which did drop out a bit)) and decent sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The outdoor area was well used and the pools proximity to the house was important to us with little children running around, the pool isn't fenced and we bough a water alarm for our 17 month old daughter in case she fell in. There is a lovely area for eating meals in-between the pool and the house. The location of the villa is excellent with a supermarket (Co-op) about 1.5 kms away and Siena a 15 minute drive. It is also conveniently located for day trips to other places in Tuscany (San Gimignano, Montepulciano, etc). Marco, the owner was very helpful and responsive to any issues or questions we had.
Mrs. C.C. and family, from the UK staying in Fienile. Aug 2012
The house is lovely, very comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The pool is clean, close to the house and a good size for proper swimming as well as playing, though would not be suitable for very small children. The whole outdoor area, seating, dining etc is very well arranged. The owner was extremely helpful, and responded quickly when we had a couple of small issues or queries. The age range of the party was from 7 to 74 and all of us loved it.
Mrs. D.W. and family, from the UK staying in Fienile. Feb 2011
Il Fienile is a wonderful villa! There are six bedrooms (four double and two single) which were clean and comfortable with lots of wardrobe space, extra pillows, blankets and available plug-ins. There are four bathrooms with showers, 2 also have bidets. Hairdryers are provided as well. The kitchen is spacious with a large refrigerator and five burner gas stove with an electric oven. The kitchen is well-stocked with the cookware necessary to create your own gourmet meals. A stained glass window makes the atmosphere even more special. Three complete sets of china and a wide assortment of stemware are available for dining in the dining room or outside under the covered terrace beside the pool. The gardens are splendid and the pool, complete with a diving rock, is clean. There are lots of lights which allow the deck and gardens to be used after sunset. Access to the gardens is easy from one of two garden doors equipped with screens and shutters. The property, although not far from Siena and other villas, is secluded on a hillside from which the views are fabulous. The overall ambience of this stone house furnished with antiques and semi-precious art work is luxurious. The owner lives near by and is available to answer questions and deal expeditiously with any concerns. The available WiFi worked well but downloading was sometimes slow in the evening. Il Fienile was a wonderful home during our two week stay. It is centrally located for easy access to many Tuscan must-see places like Siena, Montepulcino, Castello di Verrazzano, Lucca and San Gimignano. For an extra special treat, contact Emily at a Tuscan Table (www.atuscantable.com). She can prepare a scrumptious meal for you at the villa.
Mrs. L.L. and family, from the USA staying in Fienile. Dec 2010
We had a great time at the villa. It was perfect for us. Right size, right layout and the right distance from town. All super clean and tidy.
Supplies when we arrived was a nice touch.
A particular standout point was the local team all of whom were really good, they did everything we asked in terms of restaurant bookings, bike hire etc.
The pool was perfect.
It’s a great location.

Our stay here was out of this world. We had such a great time splashing by the pool and eating delicious foos. You are such sweet people and made our trip something we will always treasure. We are so apperciative of what you've done for us to make everything just perfect! We loved Lucca and enjoyed every moment of our trip. We had a wonderful time celebrating Nancy and Bob's 50th wedding anniversary we couldn't have asked for a better way to relax and explore Italy.

Daria was the best host. She was so welcoming and so helpful. Our time there was the best we could have hoped for. The villa itself has all of the accomadations you could want on a vacation. 10/10 recommend.
Luke, Texas staying in Guardiolo. Aug 2024
We absolutely loved our stay at Guardiolo as 3 couples and a baby. The villa was beautiful and luxurious, but also great value for money. Daria was very helpful with check in, recommendations and booking a wine tasting for us. The surroundings are beautiful, the local town is within walking distance to supermarket and a few small bars/ restaurants. Good hiking/ running routes through the vineyard. We also drove to Palaia for a lovely dinner with spectacular views over the hillside. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Unbedingt bei Savini Tartufi Trüffel kaufen, nur 3 Kilometer entfernt

The villa is incredibly beautiful, beautifully furnished, with a huge property surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. Everything is super clean, well-maintained, and in great condition. The pool is a lovely size and is cleaned every day. You arrive and immediately relax. You receive a very warm welcome, and any questions you have about restaurants, excursions, or anything else during your stay are answered promptly. Highly recommended! 11 days, 2 families, 4 adults. Large 1950's stylish family house with super, airy living/ dining space and well equipped kitchen. Suite of beds and bathrooms in two wings giving good separation and privacy. Fantastic views, fabulous olive orchard and garden, good sized pool, seating everywhere, complete privacy, quiet, peaceful, 360* sun/ shade facing all day. Just a stroll away from a small, beautiful, (non-touristy, non-commercial) village centre with cafe-shop for basic amenities (bread and pastries, etc) and great restaurant, Le Cantine. Arezzo is full of character with more excellent restaurants and a hypermarket. Modernista's location is perfect for the many touristy sights but we couldn't really drag ourselves away from such a chill-out space.
Nigel S. staying in Modernista. Jun 2024
Let me start by saying that I have had the pleasure of staying in many villas throughout Italy. I have to say my stay at Modernista was joyous the property was better than I anticipated. The rooms were airy and modern and the pool was a great resource. The location in the small town of Peregine Valdarno was perfect enabling us to walk into the town for basic shopping and the bar in the evening and the restaurant. Yet it was only a short drive away from Florence and Siena. Our hosts were attentive and helpful and in no way intrusive. The whole region is wonderful and for me Certona was an unexpected bonus as was Civitella. Modernista helped me connect with Italians and the Italian ways in a way I have not been able to from other tourist type villas. I cannot recommend it enough.
Mr. T.M. with family and friends, UK staying in Modernista. Feb 2015
This is the first time in years (or maybe ever) I am writing a 5 star review for any form of hotel, villa, or accommodation - and I would give 6 stars if I could! I had an amazing and truly memorable time at Villa Bosco (Villa Vetrichina). The villa and rooms were amazing, and Patrizia took care of every single detail to perfection. Chef Francesco's daily cooking was also amazing, some of the best food I had in Tuscany, or Italy for that matter. Aurora also did an excellent job throughout. All of them were super warm and welcoming.
Patrizia was also very knowledgeable about Tuscany and the region, and I really enjoyed her personalised recommendations - right down even to the detail of which specific roads were smoother paved and more scenic. An unforgettable place to relax and enjoy Tuscany! Thank you!!
Daryl staying in Villa Bosco. Aug 2024
Villa Bosco in Tuscany was probably one of the best experiences we have had of renting villas all over Europe. We were 3 families, 6 grown-ups and 7 children aged 2-14 and we had a wonderful 3 week vacation at the villa. First of all the environment is perfect as advertised: A beautiful old farmhouse, renovated with all modern amenities – excellent bathrooms, showers, and bidets air conditioning in all the rooms (note: electricity for A/C charged separately), very comfortable beds, most of them extra-large by European standards, beautiful old furnishings but practical and useful. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils, dishes, flatware, large refrigerator, dish washer and of course a large dining room with a table that seated 13 easily. The swimming pool was also fantastic – clear water, large, many pool toys and accessories available, pool furniture including many armchairs – a real joy to escape the heat in hot days. Many other amenities: table tennis, outside gazebo with full dining table, outside grill and barbeque, and more. Our only remark was that the 2 TV sets in the lounges could have been a bigger… The villa itself is arranged with groupings of 1, 2,3 bedrooms so that families can have an “area” to themselves and yet join the whole group for meals, evenings, etc. What made the stay so special was our host Patrizia and her chef Francesco. She really made the difference making this experience so unique. She lives next door and always available for any requestproblem. Every request was met with a smile and the team made all attempts to satisfy all our requests. During our stay we had an incident where one of our group fell and wounded her head, she was taken care by Francesco who eventually called an ambulance, was taken to the hospital, stitched, and returned after a few hours. Wonderful care, as good as can be expected. We ordered a few dinners cooked by Francesco – highly recommended, excellent food, Italian delicacies both local and national – to say nothing of the calorie-full desserts. Our only complaint was that there was too much food at these meals. Needless to say, the children got special dishes, always with a smile and an effort to please. In summary, this villa warrants 6 stars – not 5 and we are sure that anyone who chooses it will not regret it and enjoy every minute.
Silia, UK staying in Villa Bosco. Jun 2022
Absolutely wonderful villa. Do not want to leave!!! Francesca is fantastic and here to help in any way she can. Will not be our last trip for sure.
Mark from USA staying in Terrazzino. Sep 2023
Albero is a villa in a class of its own. When we visited the house, it took our breath away - and this is no exaggeration. Here, luxury and comfort have been seamlessly combined, from a private vegetable garden to iPads in the walls that control the music and heating. The friendly housekeepers were the icing on the cake, as you can tell their hearts are truly in it.
Sophia staying in Albero. Aug 2024
A lovely apartment in a delightful setting with views across the valley to the delightful hill town of Citta della Pieve. Charming family - very helpful. It was great to have food (and wine!) laid in on arrival, by arrangement with Olivia. Excellent and detailed instructions and suggestions for restaurants and services in the folder. The kitchen perhaps the best provided of any place we have stayed at. Nice quiet pool. Lots to do in the area.
Some suggestions: A sign to indicate Aceronina on the final turning on the white road - it is not labelled as such! We found that entering Borgo Montefreddo on the satnav worked well. The final ~200M of track is a bit of a nightmare- would be tricky for a small or low vehicle- so could be improved!
Thanks Nigel, I've changed the directions to make them more helpful!
Nigel and family staying in Aceronina. Aug 2025
We had a party of five people at the villa for 5 nights - it was perfect. We could not have asked for a more tranquil, relaxing, and private holiday destination. We had the beautiful grounds and pool to ourselves for the entirety of our stay at the villa, and we thoroughly enjoyed this. We made use of the lovely big pool daily - playing pool volleyball as well as doing laps. It is meticulously maintained, as are all of the outside grounds of the property.
Inside the villa is a beautiful large kitchen which allowed all five of us to prepare food at the same time. In fact all of the rooms in the villa are large which gave us ample room to relax inside when it was too hot to be outside. The kitchen is well stocked with all utensils and spices needed to create meals. The bathrooms were very clean and ample bath and pool towels were provided.
The villa is air-conditioned, with controls in all rooms, and in conjunction with the shutters on all windows the villa was kept lovely and cool even on the hottest days that we were there. The view from the outside balcony/patio was absolutely breathtaking, clearly seeing across the valley to the hilltop village on the other side, many kilometres away.
We were welcomed by Olivia, the owner, and her daughter who allowed us to check-in early. It was comforting knowing that Olivia lives at one of the other houses on the property, however we were also given complete privacy.
We highly recommend this villa for a restful holiday, and we are all hoping to return again in the future.
Guy and family staying in Aceronina. Jul 2025
This is a big villa for six people - ideal for a family or group of friends. Each stylishly decorated bedroom is spacious and has its own luxurious bathroom. We had three generations of the family staying, and there was always space for everyone to do their own thing, with a large sitting room/lounge/dining room, a big country well equipped country kitchen, and a convenient loggia/verandah for outdoor meals overlooking the spectacular scenery down the Val di Chiana and across to the medieval hilltop town of Citta della Pieve. We loved the original farmhouse tiles, the beamed ceilings, comfortable furniture, art and stylish furnishings. Olivia provides a lot of tourist information, and fantastic art, literature and picture books on the area and Italy in general, as well as personal recommendations for local restaurants. We took her advice and went to a spectacular restaurant in Citta della Pieve, and another in San Casciano dei Bagni, both within 20 minutes drive. There are also small groceries within a short drive away, where you can buy a grand selection of local cheeses, hams, prosciutto, olives and other vegetables.
The pool was a good size for lap swimming as well as lounging about. We appreciated the tote bag gifts and pool towels. We all enjoyed the beautiful setting, except for one problem: near the villa on this large estate, there was a horse paddock surrounded by forest (with deer!), and this proved ideal conditions for horse flies which are a terrible scourge in hot weather, as they have a painful bite (they can even bite through clothing or sunbed mesh), leaving a swollen itchy sore for days. Some of us suffered more than others, who were able to fend them off with insect repellent. Fortunately, the flies were restricted to one area and did not come near the house, which was high up on the first floor, and also had screened windows.
We all loved this villa and would highly recommend it. Olivia and her adult children were very helpful and responsive hosts, providing lots of information and sorting any problems very quickly. We only encountered one difficulty, which was in initially finding the villa because the coordinates given in our instructions were incorrect, and our GPS led us almost 15 kilometers away down an almost impassable track, before we realised there must be a mistake in the directions. The local village of Piazze was not mentioned in the instructions, and although we were told the villa was called Aceronina, no one used this name, and it was always called Montefreddo. Eventually after phone calls to our host, Olivia, her daughter rescued us, and came to meet us in Piazze to lead us to the villa. However, the instructions need to be corrected to save others a wild goose chase. This is a beautiful villa in a lovely peaceful spot, with wonderful tourist sites in the vicinity, and gave us a relaxing and happy holiday.
Wendy and Mark from New Zeland staying in Aceronina. Aug 2024
This is our first stay here. Having stayed in the area previously, we were taken aback by the panoramic views from the terrace. The accommodation is superb! It is very comfortable and well equipped. Our hosts were charming and helpful, especially about the restaurant recommendations in the local towns. All of which we found to be very charming. The lasagne from the local butchers in Piazze is a must!!
Heather & family from UK staying in Aceronina. Jun 2024
We recently spent a week at Aceronina with members of our family, celebrating major birthdays and important anniversaries. We could hardly have chosen a better location! The views go on for ever in several directions, and never failed to delight, even on the day when storm clouds came sweeping in from the south.
The accommodation is spacious and extremely well equipped and comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you could ask for if you want to cook for yourself. However, you would be denying yourself a great deal if you didn’t explore at least some of the fine restaurants to be found in the area. We really enjoyed dinner at Osteria Rinaldi, in Piazze, just 5 minutes down the road, and the carnivores in the group raved about the mixed grill enjoyed at the restaurant at the castle in Radico-fani. However, the highlight was the celebratory dinner prepared and served for us “at home”. We really appreciated all the help received from Invitation to Tuscany in booking the week, and spe-cially in helping organise our special dinner.
Lounging by the pool was an important part of our stay, but there is also a great deal of interest in the surrounding area. A week was way too short a time, but besides Radicofani and Piazze, we were also able to visit San Casciano dei Bagni and Montalcino, (home of the famous Brunello wine, but also home to a very interesting leather goods store). Siena was also within easy reach for a day’s outing.
Altogether it was a wonderful week, and special thanks must go to Olivia, the owner, for providing such comfortable, well equipped surroundings.
Neville & family from Canada staying in Aceronina. May 2023
Our stay at Aceronina was the favorite part of our trip. The villa was even better than expected....Very spacious and lovely...especially the view. We got lost (followed the GPS) on the way and Olivia, the owner came to get us and lead us to the villa. We also had someone recommended by Olivia come in one night to fix a wonderful dinner for us.
Also thanks to Dan of Invitation to Tuscany for all your help. Any time I had questions, they were promptly answered and much help was offered. Would definitely do this again.

It was a wonderful visit with everything you could want. We were very well looked after by our host Barbara and nothing was too much trouble.
The palazzo was well designed and furnished to a high standard. The rooms were comfortable and the outside space was amazing. I really liked the way modern convenience mixed with the old to provide a restful, relaxing holiday experience unlike any other I have previously known.
Lynne from UK staying in Palazzo Giustiniani. Aug 2024
Palazzo Giustiniani is one of the most magical places I have ever encountered! The place is just heavenly. From the historical grounds to the tasteful refurbishment by the owners, everything speaks of quality and attention to detail. Barbara has gone out of her way to look after us and she's been one of the best hosts ever. The breakfast on offer is top notch. The pool and gardens are super peaceful and airy. The location is right next to everything you might need. A one of a kind experience that will stay with you forever, don't miss on this one
Afroditi from UK staying in Palazzo Giustiniani. Jul 2024
I spent some dream days with some friends in the beautiful Giustiniani palace.
Barbara is an extremely helpful and convivial woman, and together with the engineer Giustiniani welcomed us giving us some historical goodies on the building.
The beauty of the Apulian resorts has enriched a unique intimacy that Sogliano Cavour and the building have managed to give us.
The location is extremely well-kept with objects of elegant and contemporary design that come into contact with typical elements of the local architecture, such as star vaults and Lecce stone.
Very clean, king size beds made it even more comfortable.
I can't help but mention the outdoor patio, where I shared with my friends chatting and laughing, it gave us an elegant yet homely atmosphere.
A magical place, perfect for families, friends, but also couples and real connoisseurs.
Gabriele from Italy staying in Palazzo Giustiniani. Apr 2024
I loved the authenticity of Palazzo Giustiniani and the atmosphere that can be felt there, the large internal and external spaces and the style, refinement and refinement of the furnishings. All studied down to the smallest detail, respecting the history of the building and the Salento architecture.
Large bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Beautiful bathrooms. The large and well-equipped kitchen. The courtyard, the swimming pool area and the various terraces offer different outdoor areas on multiple levels, where you can choose to stay in complete tranquility and shielded from the rest of the world, or with views over the main street of the town and the beautiful church in front of the Palace.
At Palazzo Giustiniani you can really breathe a special atmosphere in all its rooms. Exquisite and professional welcome. Impeccable cleanliness. In addition to the beauty of the structure and the guarantee of excellent service, also the very central position in the main square of Sogliano Cavour, with all commercial services within walking distance, and the most beautiful beaches of Salento 20 minutes by car, make Palazzo Giustiniani a real pearl for unforgettable holidays with family or a group of friends.

I'm Dan, the owner of Invitation to Tuscany. In April 2023, I had the pleasure of visiting the Palazzo. This historical treasure has been beautifully restored with a delicate touch and impeccable taste. Located in the heart of the town, it feels like a genuine part of the community, offering a rich experience of Italian culture.
During my visit, I spent much of my time exploring the surrounding area. The Palazzo is ideally situated for trips to the beaches of Salento. I tested this by driving east to Otranto, then following the coast down to Santa Maria Leuca (Finibus Terrae), and up the western coast to Gallipoli. Each town and beach on this route is worth a full day's exploration, making for a fantastic day trip.
As a former architect, I found the building particularly fascinating. It features a series of underground rooms (not accessible to visitors) that naturally circulate cool air into the rooms above during the hotter months. While Barbara and Filippo have installed modern air conditioning, this centuries-old system helps keep the massive stone structure cool through natural ventilation.
I'm thrilled to include this remarkable building in our portfolio.

We loved everything about our stay at Pipistrelli! The home was gorgeous and comfortable, with plenty of space, including large common areas - outdoors and indoors, as well as generous private bedrooms, each with a full bath. It was secluded but also close to the 'village' in Montestigliano, as well as the nearby nature preserve and sightseeing in Siena. Breakfast each morning in the villa was a treat, and set us up well for the day. Something for everyone. Absolutely dreamy!!!

Wow! A perfect vacation. The staff are welcoming, kind, and helpful - every one. We celebrated our anniversary, bringing ous sons and there families (6 adults and 4 kids). Every one of us were so impressed with the lodging, comfort, atmosphere, privacy, and especially the pool. Breakfast each morning was incredible. We paid for a chef to prepare a few dinners - again, and fantastic experience. Special kudos to Francesco (manager), Anna (chef), and Lola (always helpful and smiling). Ee felt a part of the Montestigliano family. Most definitely plan to return!

I won't make this long but it's safe to say that Pipistrelli was fantastic. Better than expectations which were very high. The villa is absolutely incredible & the level of service was amazing. Francesco is a star. He took amazing care of us. The group dinners they do two nights a week are a must and having breakfast and dinner prepared at the villa was perfect. I would 100% go back again. Thank you for the help.

A beautiful 17th century villa located on a 1500 hectare estate of olive groves and vineyards. Manager Francesco greeted us and catered to our every need supplying a breakfast cook, a catered dinner, and some excellent wines from the estate's cantina. The villa accommodates up to 14 people with 5 bedrooms c/w bathrooms in the main villa, a dining room, a large kitchen and two living rooms while the annex has two more bedrooms and a large open living area. The views over the Tuscan hills are beautiful, especially at sunset, and we enjoyed the trip of a lifetime with 5 couples using the villa as base to tour other Tuscan towns. It is located 15 minute from Siena and only an hour drive to Florence, Volterra, San Gimgnano, Castellina, and Cortona, to name a few towns. Nearby towns like Rosia, Orgia, and Stigliano offer reasonable and tasty dining options and groceries.

I agree the pictures do not do it justice! We stayed 1 week with extended family, including children between 3 to 12 years, we hardly saw the kids, they were so entertained playing around the property with so much to explore yet in a very safe setting. The rest of us had plenty of space to hang out with each other or do our own thing. Plenty of exploring to do around the area, by foot bike or car! We are going back for more this year :)

Beautiful rustic accommodation set in a winery and surrounding grape fields. Such a good view and enjoyed cheese and biscuits washed down by the owners wine made from the grapes we were viewing. Quick drive down into the village to catch the train to Florence, 20 minutes. Beautiful swimming pool for sunny days. Great hostess.

The location was excellent. although there are several apartments in the building, each one has its own terrace. The view from the pool is extraordinary. There is a lot of peace around and I think it is the ideal location for relaxation and rest. Especially if you like old things and country life maybe as it is located in a vineyard that has its own winery, it would have been nice to be offered a style of wine from the house (even if it was included in the price without us knowing), it was an important thing for hospitality

I visited this little wine estate in May 2021 so we have no reviews yet - these are my impressions. As always, my main focus on a first visit is on the owners and the caretakers - they will be the people looking after you when you visit so much rests on their shoulders. I met both caretakers and the owner, they couldn't have been more charming so I'm confident you'll be well looked after here. The estate has 8 apartments, we have listed three to start with, our favourites. This one, the "Wine Lover" has disabled facilities so I thought it would be a great addition.
The buildings are surrounded by vineyards that are run by the little estate, producing their own wine. THe swimming pool is set higher up the hill than the buildings so you get great views across the Arno valley towards the Chianti hills. You can walk - or drive - down to the local train station and get into the centre of Florence in under 30 minutes, which is a lovely way to explore the city and then come back to your pool and spacious apartment.

Had a great week in this very grand villa set on hillside.
Good location and views. House full of antiques with great ambiance. Pool is private to the rear, well used, although very cold as not heated. Caretaker and housekeeper live on top floor but keep themselves private and don’t speak English.
Had a good meal organised by Invitation to Tuscany served in top floor dining room by Housekeeper, like having your own restaurant on the top floor. Also Great restaurants 5 mins by car and close by is local coop. Monteriggioni is very close too for wine tasting. Only thing missing was mugs for hot drinks, and maybe more towels midweek would have been good.
