Villa Contenta is a delightful converted farm-building in the heart of Chianti, close to Gaiole and Radda, both famous Chianti wine-making towns. The villa is all on one level with large windows looking out over the rolling hills of Chianti, the swimming pool is right in front of the house and enjoys the same wonderful views as the house.
This is the perfect base for a Tuscan holiday for six, all rooms ensuite and with airconditioning throughout.

The entrance is from a covered loggia that also shelters a working wood pizza-oven, perfect for meals under the shaded pergola nearby.
Inside you'll find a kitchen/dining-room, a living room and a large double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, all of which have windows onto the lawn and swimming-pool. One of the bedrooms and its ensuite is accessible to those in a wheelchair, with a wide-entry bathroom and shower door, angled mirrors and helpful handles.
Behind these you'll find two more ensuite double rooms and a laundry room, as well as a very sweet little hideaway tucked a few steps up, a perfect spot to relax with a book.

Contenta is in the very heart of Chianti, surrounded by vineyards, beautiful hill towns and excellent wineries. There are lots of excellent hikes through the area, many even going past wine-tasting farms and castles - this is an area with plenty to explore without going too far.
Should you wish to visit the famous cities of Tuscany, like Siena, Florence or Arezzo, they are all within an hour's drive, as are many of the other famous areas and wine cities, like the Valdorcia, or the Valdelsa.

Check availability: View pricing and availability in the calendar above. To book online, click your desired arrival date, then your departure date. The calendar will grey out dates for stay lengths that aren't accepted—most villas book Saturday to Saturday, but many also allow shorter stays or flexible dates.
Need help choosing?
We visit our properties regularly and can provide firsthand advice based on your wishlist. Contact us and we'll help you select the best villa for your holiday. Secure your dates: We can hold your preferred dates for 48 hours while you confirm flights and coordinate with your group. To confirm, simply pay the 30% deposit. Your balance will be due 10 weeks before arrival.
